Christian Aid is a UK-based international non-governmental organization (NGO) which exists to put an end to neediness around the world. The Nigeria country programme these days focuses on agglomeration health and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), governance and gender.

CHRISTIAN AID NIGERIA RECRUITMENT 2014

Christian Aid is currently invites from suitable qualified candidates to fill the vacancy of Programme officer (Cook stove), Community Health and HIV, Nigeria. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting and managing Christian Aid partnerships and programmes, as well as the effective disbursement of funds to Christian Aid partners.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Candidates must possess a degree in a development/business management -related subject.
• Candidates must have at least five years’ working experience in community based small scale business development or entrepreneurship development for poor/low income populations.
• Candidates must have experience in Pro-Poor Market Development (PPMD) approach and can lead on exciting new markets and private sector work, with the ability to support partners.
• Candidates must have experience in supporting advocacy work to ensure systemic interventions aimed at creating an enabling environment for the poor to participate more effectively in markets.
